A great way to introduce Indian Mythology - I bought this book after a friend's recommendation. My son loves books. Although he can't read, he loves watching the images and listening to them when we read them out to him. I have been teaching the concept of god to him and this book is helping me in that as well. It is a rhyme that explains Ramayana in such a simple way to kids. The illustrations are so good and descriptive.

Good introduction for little children - It's a nice and quick way to introduce young children to the epic story of Ramayana. My 3.5 year old looks at with great interest. I tone down the language a bit (as I like to use Hindi).

My only issue is that some of the illustrations are exactly the same as those in "Amma tell me about Diwali" so there is no point in buying both the books.

An enjoyable read. Great illustrations. A modern take on a classic. Obviously geared towards South Indian readers, but is still good overall. Love it.
